Chito is a remote valley in southern Ecuador near the Peruvian border, where hillside farms are rarely larger than a hectare. For years its coffee went into the domestic market without traceability. In 2021 Juan Peña and CafExporto found the community; they now build a lot from its best deliveries, most of it from five producers: Leodan Alverca, José Jiménez, Pablo Guerrero, Nazario Zurita and Lui
