Tasting Notes: Red Fruit, Honey, Chocolate. Rigoberto Alaya Blanco and José Ureña Ulloa produced this Catuai and Caturra lot at MICEPA in Chirripo, Costa Rica at 1,495 meters altitude. Extended drying within the whole coffee cherry during natural processing enhances sweetness and body, yielding an approachable cup with notes of red fruit, honey, and chocolate.
