Finca Bethania is a 42 hectare large farm in Macueliza, in the famous coffee region Nueva Segovia. The farm was established in 1991, lies at 1350 to 1500 masl and is run by two women, Martha and Ana Albir, third-generation coffee growers. In previous times, their family owned other lands as well, but these were taken away from them by the government after the Nicaraguan revolution in the seventies
