This honey-processed coffee from Aponte in Narino, Colombia, has a juicy, sweet character, with notes of rockmelon, caramel, fudge and orange. It works well as a modern espresso or a fruit-led filter coffee. Honey processing leaves a layer of fruit on the coffee after the cherry skin is removed. The coffee dries with that fruit still attached, a distinctive part of how this lot is prepared.
